I love your writing, however this weeks INTERGASHLINGANAH BORSHT made me CRINGE!!!!!
I speak Yiddish fluently.
The word used is wrong. Gashlingen means swallowed.
The eggs are BEATEN, or GESHLUGEN. the proper word is INTERGESHLUGENAH Borsht, and INTERGESHLUGENAH Bundlach. Because the eggs are slowly beaten, mixed, combined with the borsht, thus giving it the bright pink color.
